When I found out I was going to be an aunt I decided I was going to make a painting for my new niece to start her art collection, and that every year I would make her a new one. Now it is something I do for both of my nieces. I hope that my work helps them appreciate art and handmade goods.

She loved her jellyfish I painted for her.

She wanted to paint, so she watercolored while I painted a jelly for her. She loved them when we went to the aquarium.

I painted this for Elaina’s 1st artwork in her collection.

This was the 2nd artwork in Elaina’s collection. Cory did the woodwork and I painted.

The 3rd piece in her collection, she will have to wait until she is 4 for her 4th!

Cory and I made this for our niece Josephine shortly after she was born. The yellow is because she stared at a yellow wreath all the time (making me think it was her favorite) and the flowers are ones we see on hikes all the time. Now she is 18 months old and she still likes yellow and loves flowers; flower was even one of her first words!
