Cory and I try to use up all the wood leftover from projects in an effort not to waste. We have had some solid animal shapes created by our frame-making, so this project was a prototype in trying to use one of our bears. I was inspired by European folk art after some family tree findings (my grandma who I was very close to was half Hungarian) and decided to make something reminiscent of that tradition.
