Who is ready for fall?! I sure am. Fall hiking, bonfires, colorful leaves, and pumpkin pie are all my favorite. I am pretty particular about the pie, though. I grew up with my great-grandmother’s recipe being the only pumpkin pie in our house, and my sister and I both agree we are keeping it that way. I have a picture of my grandma’s recipe card where she wrote down her mom’s recipe, so I’m sharing that. If you want to make the best pumpkin pie, this card will tell you how.
*I recommend doubling the recipe as it’s easier than halving a box of pudding mix, and you get two pies!
*My husband and I are fans of homemade crust, so we make our own. This pie is great in a graham cracker crust, but it’s even better with a homemade one! We use the Pillsbury crust recipe (you can find it in my blog under the Huckleberry Pie Recipe: https://www.annakmcdermott.com/blog/HikingForHuckleberries )
