Sorry I’ve been MIA for a bit- I have had multiple projects going on simultaneously and let the blog slip! So, let’s catch up!
Cory and I did some hikes around Mt Hood since last I posted. It’s been pretty hot this summer so we’re a bit behind on our numbers. We have done 61 of our 100 hikes this year.
We were visiting our cousins in Washington and wanted to make them something so we made them a Mt Rainier wreath similar to our Mt Hood wreath.
The sign is based off of the gate coming into the park from Ashford. Cory does such a good job with my crazy ideas!
I put the Mt Hood watercolor on pause for a couple of days while I painted this doggie memorial portrait commission. Cory whipped up a frame for him. Doesn’t he look sweet?
Anywho, back to painting this watercolor of Mt Hood to send it off to its new home and then to the giant project of painting Grand Teton! Thankful to see low 70s and high 60s in the forecast. Painting with open widows is in my near future!
