The past few weeks have been busy and I have let them get in the way of my blog, so it is time for an update!
My mom’s best friend from when they were 12 is my aunt Pam. She is the very best and had plans to visit pre-pandemic. That all got put on pause when the pandemic hit until recently. Her flight was going to go to waste so she had to use it and being fully vaxxed we felt safe with her coming out (for her and her husband’s safety esp!). We hiked, shopped, explored the coast, showed her where iconic scenes from the Goonies were shot and ate a lot of good food. We had a great time.

A couple of weeks ago Cory and I got our first shots and felt a bit off for a few days (Cory more so). We are both really thankful for getting them. Also we are hoping our seconds won’t be much of anything, especially as Cory’s birthday is the day after!
I have had a few more Jelly commissions lately, though I think this is the end of them for a while.

My art space got a bit of an update. New green cabinet, new lamp (left), and new wooden drawer colored pencil storage. Not pictured is all the new Acryla Gouache I got, which you’ll be seeing in new paintings soon! I believe a fun, organized space really helps in making art.
Just a teaser of what I am working on- Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood that will be in a black bear frame made by Cory. Soon I will have a post up of it finished!
