As an artist I have enough space taken up with blank canvases and yet unpainted birch panels. The quilt I made in a recent post was one such project, this kimono-style jacket another!

Read moreHey all! It has been a minute since I posted, but largely that’s been because I have been trying to wrap up things before I start posting about them. On that note, I am participating in the 6x6x6 Community art show at Alberta Street Gallery in Portland, OR that has already started and will run through March 24th. All works had to be 6x6x6 inches or less- mine were 5in circles.
Read moreMy sister was off for Christmas as her baby’s daycare was closed, so that seemed the perfect time to visit; off to North Carolina we flew! Needing to get our 100th hike in for 2022, we got my sister and niece to go with. She took us to a park that she had been to but our niece hadn’t.
