Cory and I went to the Willamette Heritage Center for our anniversary as we hadn’t been there before and we love a museum.

As it turns out, our local mushroom seller The Mushroomery sells their own kits at the farmer’s market at People’s Co-op on Wednesdays.

Easter, a year ago, we went to Cannon Beach to hike at Ecola State park to get pictures for me to paint a large panorama. While we were driving through town we noticed several domesticated rabbits on the loose- so many I had to look it up on Google.

If you’ve been on my blog before you know I love hiking and I love flowers.. So wildflower hikes are a great way the two intersect. This place has been our favorite we have found- and today was the first we have hiked it in such cloudy, windy weather.

Sometime after moving into her new house my sister requested some fruit paintings for her dining room, I have finally obliged. She had sent me examples of different styles that all had lots of color and were somewhat leaning toward pop art. She said she knew she wanted apples and strawberries, but the rest was up to me. I kinda walked the line between realism and pop art. The background colors were inspired by her house, and I can’t wait to see them there.
